BIG GREEN POKEY TREE AND RED BOXES

Last week, one morning, I woke up and when I got out to the chair room (mommy: living room), I saw a Big Green Pokey Tree and some red boxes at the bottom of it. Mommy told me it's called a Christmas tree (I can only say Mas Twee but Mommy says it's okay) and that the boxes underneath are called 'presents' which I can only open sometime in the future, on a day called Christmas Eve (Mas Eef).

I've been forbidden to touch the Pokey tree (Mah Mah let me touch one time and it was ouch!) and anything near it until then. I wonder why...
